Small Product Techniques

Backgrounds

- Colour that compliments product
- Very dark can be hard to graduated
- Pure white loose detail
- Seamless Background
- Horizon Background

Viewpoint

- The more sides of an object visible the more it will appear 3d
- Object high in frame will appear larger than the same one low in the frame
- A horizon line to high or low will feel natural where as in the centre will be static

Lighting
- Front lighting = Flat
- Soft box above = gives a better 3d effect on the product and can graduate background
- Backlight = More 3d and high contrast but the front will be poorly lit.
